Job summary

Ace Retail Group is seeking an Assistant Manager to oversee daily store operations, drive goals, and provide outstanding customer service. You will work with a team to ensure a welcoming, safe, and efficient shopping environment while upholding our core values.

Responsibilities include supervising general operations, opening and closing the store, implementing procedures, training associates, and coordinating with the Store Support Center on district initiatives.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED required.
• Ability to read and interpret safety rules and SOPs.
• Basic math skills for calculations.
• Ability to compute ratios and percentages and interpret graphs.
• Ability to work independently.
• Flexible work schedule.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to foster teamwork and motivate others.
• Lift up to 50 lbs regularly and up to 100 lbs occasionally with assistance.

Responsibilities

• Provide positive representation of Ace Retail Group.
• Proactively assist customers in solving problems.
• Greet customers entering and throughout the store; thank them when leaving.
• Supervise general operations of the store.
• Open and close the store as needed.
• Assist with Store Support Center program implementation.
• Maintain cleanliness of sales floor, stockroom, and outdoor areas.
