Job summary

Rural King Farm and Home Store is seeking an Assistant Store Manager Trainee to support operations, leadership, and customer service. Promotion to Store Manager requires relocation to one of three area stores, with focus on improving day-to-day operations, merchandising, and staff development.

You will collaborate with the Store Manager to drive service quality, supervise teams, and meet sales goals while maintaining safety and attractive displays. Strong leadership is essential.

Qualifications

• 2+ years retail management experience.
• Outgoing self-starter who enjoys working with people.
• Proficient with Excel and Word; able to use retail software systems.
• Ability to lead and train staff in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Partner with Store Manager to ensure customer service and staff supervision.
• Direct store personnel to build revenue and meet sales goals.
• Coordinate efforts of all staff to achieve revenue targets and stock displays.
• Recruit, train, and develop personnel; maintain safe, well-priced merchandise.
• Demonstrate leadership, problem-solving, and effective communication.
