Rural King offers an Assistant Store Manager Trainee program designed to build leadership and operational skills for a future Store Manager role. Trainees gain hands-on experience in retail operations, sales, customer service, merchandising, inventory, and associate development.

The role partners with the Store Manager to support daily operations, develop associates, and drive business results, with relocation or commuting to one of three area stores upon promotion.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of retail leadership or supervisory experience.
• Experience with retail operations, sales, merchandising, inventory, and customer service.
• Willingness to relocate or commute to one of three area stores upon promotion.

Responsibilities

• Support daily operations, sales, inventory, merchandising, pricing, scheduling, and store performance.
• Maintain a safe, organized, and appealing store environment.
• Support recruiting, onboarding, training, coaching, and development of associates.
• Deliver exceptional customer service and resolve questions or concerns.
