Job summary

Rural King is seeking an Assistant Store Manager Trainee to develop into a future store leader. You will collaborate with the Store Manager to deliver excellent operations, customer service, and merchandising across our rural communities.

This role requires leadership, willingness to relocate to one of three area stores, and ability to train staff, supervise associates, and drive revenue and sales goals. Strong communication and problem-solving skills are essential.

Qualifications

• 2+ years retail management experience.
• Outgoing self-starter who enjoys working with people.
• Proficient with Excel and Word; comfortable with standard software systems.
• Able to multi-task, analyze, and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
• Willing to relocate/commute to one of three area stores.

Responsibilities

• Partner with the Store Manager to ensure quality customer service and staff supervision and training.
• Direct store personnel to build revenue and meet sales goals.
• Coordinate the efforts of all store personnel to build revenue and meet sales goals.
• Ensure attractive, safe, and accurately priced merchandise displays and floor plans.
• Recruit, train, and develop personnel.
• Demonstrate effective and consistent communications and interpersonal skills.
• Support maintenance and upkeep of the building and grounds.
