Job summary

Hibbett Retail, Inc. is seeking a Manager in Training to support Store Manager in daily operations and to learn all product areas. You’ll help in selling, stocking, merchandising and scheduling while promoting exceptional customer service and brand standards.

The role covers supervising in the Store Manager’s absence, training staff, and protecting company assets. Must be a self-starter with strong communication skills.

• Experience in a retail environment, footwear/apparel preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assist the Store Manager in controlling assets of the store.
• Establish action plans for selling, restocking, merchandising, ordering and scheduling.
• Assume store responsibilities in the Store Manager's absence.
• Provide guidance to employees and customers in all departments.
• Monitor inventory, sales and expenses to ensure profitability.
• Direct staff to ensure department standards are met.
• Keep Store Manager informed about inventory movement and trends.
• Ensure high-quality customer service is maintained.
• Perform general administrative duties as needed.
• Deliver extraordinary customer service per manuals and promote merchandise.
• Uphold company policies and protect assets and information.
