Job summary

Hibbett I City Gear is seeking a Manager in Training to assist the Store Manager with daily operations and administration. You will learn every product area, promote promotions, and deliver outstanding customer service to build loyalty and drive sales.

Responsibilities include assisting in restocking, merchandising, scheduling, and inventory oversight; serving as acting store leader in the Store Manager's absence; and upholding all company policies while protecting assets.

Qualifications

• Retail experience in footwear and athletic apparel.
• 1-3 years of customer service experience.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
• Ability to assist in managing a team and keep up with goals.

Responsibilities

• Assist Store Manager with selling, restocking, merchandising, ordering, and scheduling.
• Assumes responsibility of the entire store in the absence of the Store Manager.
• Provide knowledge and guidance to employees and customers in all departments.
• Promote and sell services and merchandise.
• Protect assets and ensure internal control procedures.
