The Manager in Training at Hibbett I City Gear assists the Store Manager with daily store operations and administrative duties. They are knowledgeable in each product area and help determine methods to achieve store goals and promotions.

They uphold all policies and strive to deliver outstanding customer service while promoting merchandise. In the Store Manager’s absence, the Manager in Training provides supervision and guidance to staff and ensures procedures are followed.

Qualificações

• Experience working in a retail environment, preferably footwear/apparel.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
• Ability to assist in managing a team and meet goals and profits.
• Self-starter with initiative and task ownership.

Responsabilidades

• Assist the Store Manager in selling, restocking, merchandising, ordering and scheduling.
• Assumes responsibility of the entire store in the absence of the Store Manager.
• Provide guidance to employees and customers across departments when needed.
• Monitor inventory, sales statistics and expenses to ensure profitability.
• Direct staff to ensure department responsibilities and standards are met.
• Promote services and merchandise and uphold company policies and procedures.
