Job summary

Hibbett I City Gear is seeking a Manager in Training to support the Store Manager with daily operations, merchandising, and customer service. The role emphasizes promoting sales, assisting in departmental goals, and maintaining policies across manuals.

The position is non-exempt, hourly, and reports to the Store Manager in the Operations department. The role includes supervisory duties in the absence of the Store Manager and targets delivering outstanding customer service.

Qualifications

• Retail experience in footwear/apparel preferred.
• 1–3 years of customer service experience.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Assist Store Manager with merchandising, stocking, scheduling.
• Assume store responsibilities in the Store Manager's absence.
• Provide guidance to employees and customers in all departments.
• Monitor inventory, sales statistics, and expenses to aid profitability.
• Deliver extraordinary customer service per company manuals.
