Job summary

Hibbett I City Gear is seeking a Manager in Training to assist the Store Manager in daily store operations and administrative duties. The role requires knowledge of product areas, dedication to exceptional customer service, and the ability to act as a supervisory leader in the Store Manager's absence.

Candidates should have retail experience and strong communication skills, working in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Experience working in a retail environment, preferably in footwear and athletic apparel.
• 1-3 years of customer service experience.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Assist the Store Manager in controlling the assets of Hibbett I City Gear.
• Consult with Store Manager in establishing action plan to accomplish departmental and overall store responsibilities such as selling, restocking, merchandising, ordering, and scheduling.
• Assumes responsibility of the entire store in the absence of the Store Manager.
• Provides knowledge and guidance to employees and customers in all departments when necessary.
