Responsibilities

• Assists the direct leader with developing and implementing action plans to improve operating results
• Establishes and communicates job responsibilities and performance expectations to direct reports to ensure mutual understanding and desired results
• Identifies training and development opportunities for direct reports to achieve enhanced performance
• Models company values and fosters teamwork and membership among employees
• Monitors the competitive environment and informs adjustments to maintain ALDI's position
• Provides product feedback and recommendations on items to carry or discontinue
• Participates in interviewing store personnel
• Ensures inventory, product handling, and cash control procedures are followed
• Maintains store cleanliness and proper signage at all times
• Maintains stock levels through product ordering
• Merchandises products neatly to maximize sales
• Ensures quality and freshness and accurate signage
• Assists with payroll, loss control, and training of staff
• Supervises day-to-day operations and escalates issues as needed
• Ensures timely completion of responsibilities with high customer service
