BevMax West Norwalk is seeking a full-time Store Manager to lead daily store operations, ensuring superb customer service and efficient inventory and cash handling. The role requires 3+ years of supervisory retail experience, preferably in liquor retail, with the ability to manage a team of 5+ staff in a fast-paced environment.

The position emphasizes compliance with policies, staff development, achievement of sales goals, and active participation in corporate programs.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3+ years of supervisory retail experience, preferably in liquor.
• Experience managing a team of 5 or more people.
• Able to work in a fast-paced, changing environment.
• Must be able to lift/move 50 pounds and stand for long periods.

Responsibilities

• Oversee day-to-day store operations including customer service, employee relations, inventory and purchasing, cash handling, safety and loss prevention.
• Assist customers on the sales floor providing a high level of service.
• Meet sales goals by mentoring, motivating, training and giving feedback to your associates.
• Ensure compliance with company policies and procedures.
• Handle staff and customer issues.
• Maintain store condition and visual merchandising standards.
• Propose ideas to increase sales and market share.
• Conduct performance reviews to assess training needs and career opportunities.
• Support and implement corporate programs and plans.
• Perform additional tasks and projects as assigned by corporate.
