Job summary

Circle K in Tucson is seeking a Store Manager to lead daily operations at our Grand Canyon BU - Region 05 location. You will recruit, train and supervise staff to deliver excellent customer service and maintain store standards.

You will manage scheduling, merchandising, safety compliance and financial controls, while building positive supplier relationships and ensuring a professional community presence.

Qualifications

• HS diploma or GED preferred
• Retail sales experience preferred
• Ability to supervise and train staff as described by CSR/ASM roles
• Supervise and manage listed CSR/ASM functions
• Proficiency with computer-based reports, inventory and cash control
• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation
• English communication (oral and written)
• Perform other duties as assigned by supervisor

Responsibilities

• Recruit, hire and train employees to provide excellent customer service
• Plan tasks to keep site clean, stocked, and well-maintained
• Maintain professional image among staff and supervisors
• Schedule staff to balance service and site image
• Apply non-discriminatory management practices in hiring, training, counseling and separation

• Prepare timely performance appraisals with constructive feedback
• Train employees on customer service, site image and safety procedures
• Ensure clear internal communication and regular team meetings
• Organize site files and reports, and manage merchandising and pricing
• Manage and supervise reports for accuracy and timeliness
• Monitor posters and signage accessibility
• Analyze daily sales and expenses to maximize profits
• Budget and forecast P&L lines and merchandise margins
• Safeguard cash handling and financial records
