You will step in during the Store Manager's absence and help manage inventory, scheduling, and staff guidance in a fast-paced footwear and athletic apparel retail setting.

Qualifications

• Experience working in a retail environment, preferably footwear and athletic apparel.
• 1-3 years of customer service experience.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
• Ability to assist in managing a team and keep up with goals and profits.
• Self-starter with initiative to take on important tasks.
• Strong attention to detail with multi-tasking and precision.

Responsibilities

• Assist the Store Manager in controlling assets and store responsibilities.
• Establish action plans for selling, restocking, merchandising, ordering and scheduling.
• Assume responsibility of the entire store in the Store Manager's absence.
• Provide knowledge and guidance to employees and customers across departments.
• Monitor inventory, sales statistics, and expenses to ensure profitability.
• Direct staff to ensure department duties and standards are met.
• Keep management informed about inventory movement and trends.
• Ensure quality customer service is maintained.
• Perform general administrative duties and learn Store Manager duties.
• Deliver extraordinary customer service as outlined in manuals and policies.
• Promote and sell services and merchandise offered by the company.
• Uphold company policies and internal control procedures.
