Job summary

Hibbett Retail, Inc. in Olive Branch, MS is seeking a Manager in Training to assist the Store Manager with all aspects of store operations and administration.

The role requires knowledge of each department, a focus on achieving store goals, and promoting promotions while maintaining the customer experience. The Manager in Training will promote merchandise, provide excellent customer service, and assume Store Manager responsibilities in their absence.

Qualifications

• Experience in a retail environment, preferably footwear/apparel.
• Strong customer service and communication skills.
• Ability to work effectively with a team in a fast-paced store setting.

Responsibilities

• Assist the Store Manager in controlling store assets and operations.
• Coordinate selling, restocking, merchandising, ordering and scheduling with the Store Manager.
• Serve as acting manager in the Store Manager’s absence and train staff accordingly.
• Provide guidance to employees and customers across departments.
• Monitor inventory, sales, expenses, and profitability; communicate trends to management.
• Direct staff to meet department responsibilities and standards.
• Deliver exceptional customer service and promote store services and merchandise.
• Uphold company policies and internal control procedures.
