Job summary

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED preferred.
• Experience in retail sales preferred.
• Ability to supervise and train staff on equipment and tools.
• Proficient computer skills for reports, inventory, and cash control.
• Valid driver's license and transportation to meetings.
• English communication skills required.

Responsibilities

• Recruit, hire and train employees to deliver excellent customer service.
• Delegate tasks to ensure the site is clean, stocked, organized and standards-based.
• Maintain a professional image among staff and supervisors.
• Schedule employees within company guidelines to maximize service and site image.
• Apply non-discriminatory management during hiring, training, counseling, motivating and separations.
• Develop positive relationships with suppliers and resolve customer issues promptly.
• Promote a safe, positive public image within the community.
• Prepare performance appraisals and provide feedback in writing.
• Train staff on safety procedures and company standards.
• Establish regular communication meetings with staff and the Market Manager.
• Organize site files and ensure timely reporting.
• Supervise merchandise stocking and pricing accuracy.
• Post employment posters and notices in accessible locations.
