Job summary

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in business or related field preferred.
• 3–5 years of retail business experience; minimum 2 years in management.
• Demonstrated leadership, good communication, self-direction and customer service.
• Proficiency with MS Outlook, Excel, PowerPoint and Word.

Responsibilities

• Maximizes store sales through excellent customer service, product availability, merchandising and store image.
• Recaps promotional activity and reports business opportunities, results, trends and competitive information.
• Manages controllable costs and educates managers on procedures for controlling merchandise variation, salaries and expenses.
• Collaborates with marketing to implement promotions and new product introductions.
• Leads store managers, assists with recruiting, orientation, training and performance coaching.
• Ensures promotions are implemented and vendor performance is monitored.
• Maintains safe, compliant operations and enforces policies and government regulations.
