Job summary

Circle K in El Paso, TX is seeking a Store Manager to lead daily operations, drive sales and ensure exceptional customer service. You will recruit, train and supervise staff, manage inventory, cash handling and reporting to district leadership.

The role requires strong leadership, excellent communication, and the ability to organize and plan, with experience in retail and flexibility for shifts including days, evenings, overnights, and weekends.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED preferred.
• Experience in retail sales preferred.
• Ability to supervise and train for the use of equipment, tools and materials listed in the CSR/ASM job description.
• Ability to supervise and manage the functions listed in the CSR and ASM job description.
• Ability to use computer, including analysis of reports, inventory control, cash control, counseling notices, etc.
• A valid driver’s license and transportation to/from bank and meetings.
• Ability to communicate (orally and in writing) in English.

Responsibilities

• Recruit, hire and train positive, enthusiastic employees, ensuring excellent customer service.
• Develop, manage and assign tasks to keep the site clean, stocked, and well kept per Company standards.
• Maintain a professional image among staff and supervisors.
• Schedule employees within Company guidelines to maximize customer service and site image.
• Develop positive relationships with suppliers and resolve customer complaints promptly.
• Prepare on-going performance appraisals in writing with constructive feedback.
• Train all employees to meet customer service, site image and marketing standards.
• Ensure timely and proper communication to all employees.
• Organize and maintain site files and manuals.
• Manage and supervise reports, merchandise stocking, displays and pricing.
• Analyze daily sales and expenses to maximize profits; budget and forecast P&L lines.
• Safeguard and account for all money received and disbursed.
• Walk the premises to oversee operations, including outdoor cleaning as needed.
