Job summary

maurices in Appleton, WI is seeking a Manager in Training (MIT) who will partner with the Store Manager and store teams to achieve sales goals, deliver a customer-focused environment, and master talent and operations. The MIT will participate in a training program designed to prepare them for a Store Manager position within 3–6 months and relocation to a specific store or group of stores.

• High School Degree or GED; business or retail merchandising degree preferred.
• Supervisory experience in a customer-focused environment; fashion industry experience preferred.
• Proven track record of achieving and executing company direction.
• Experience hiring, promoting, and motivating talent.
• Ability to lead by example, make sound decisions, and demonstrate professionalism.
• Excellent interpersonal and relationship-building skills.
• Diligence and perseverance in the face of resistance or setbacks.
• Commitment to a specific store location or group of new/existing stores.
