Gillman Home Center in Anderson, IN is seeking a Retail Store Manager to lead our team and deliver outstanding customer service while maximizing sales. You will oversee daily store operations, coaching staff, controlling inventory and shrink, and ensuring safety and policy compliance.

This role reports to the MUNCIE store leadership, requires 3+ years in retail with supervisory experience, and is a full-time position with weekend requirements. Join us to drive performance and service excellence.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED.
• 3+ years of Retail Experience (hardware/lumber preferred).
• 1-3 years of supervising employees.
• 2-3 years of retail management experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Greet and assist customers, resolve concerns and maintain excellent service.
• Lead and develop team members through coaching and regular evaluations.
• Control payroll, expenses and shrink; analyze trends to maximize sales and profitability.
• Ensure stock levels, merchandising, and displays are organized and up-to-date.
• Manage safety, compliance, and store policies; conduct store/department walks.
