Job summary

Yesway is seeking a store operations associate to support the Store Manager with staff training, scheduling and daily store responsibilities. You will address customer concerns, ensure regulatory compliance, assist with audits, stocking, and guest transactions, while monitoring shrink and profit measures.

The role emphasizes hospitality, accurate cash handling, and cooperation across departments to maintain service standards and store performance.

Qualifications

• Experience supervising others in a fast food, restaurant, retail or convenience operation.
• Certification testing is required upon employment.

Responsibilities

• Assist the Store Manager with training and development of employees and store responsibilities.
• Schedule employees for shifts.
• Resolve store issues including customer concerns.
• Ensure compliance with regulations and requirements.
• Assist with audits and proper placement and stocking of merchandise.
• Ensure hospitality for all store guests by overseeing timely guest transactions.
• Monitor profits through end of day procedures, shrink indicators, lottery, stock audits, vendors, car wash operations and retail waste.
