Job summary

AutoZone in Kenner, LA is seeking a Manager in Training (MIT) to develop leadership, deliver WOW customer service, and master store operations under a Store Manager. This transitional role provides hands-on assignments and structured learning over 8–12 weeks, with promotion based on performance.

You will gain experience in staffing, coaching, inventory control, merchandising, and customer service leadership while progressing through the training program.

Qualifications

• 1–2 years of prior experience as a retail manager or supervisor.
• Full-time flexible schedule availability (mornings, nights, weekends, and overtime).
• High school diploma or GED.
• Strong communication in Spanish and English.

Responsibilities

• Lead the store team under the Store Manager guidance.
• Communicate clearly with employees and customers to drive store execution.
• Analyze and reconcile monthly P&L statements to optimize profitability.
• Support store operations and uphold training processes.
• Assist with staffing and training to develop a strong team.
• Lead customer service activities and resolve concerns proactively.
• Oversee inventory, merchandising, and sales strategies.
