$16.50 to $26.48 per hour

This role is designed for external retail assistant managers and store managers interested in "fast-tracking" into a Store Management position. This role requires a minimum of 1 year retail management experience.

• The ability to earn unlimited commission above your hourly base rate.

Description

We are seeking a Retail Store Management Trainee to join our team. This role is for external retail assistant managers and store managers aiming to advance into Store Management. A minimum of 1 year retail management experience is required. The role offers hourly pay plus commission and performance bonuses. Responsibilities include managing store operations, developing staff, achieving financial goals, and ensuring customer satisfaction.

Responsibilities of a Store Management Trainee

• Engage customers professionally and address issues promptly.
• Assist in training Pawnbrokers to meet company standards.
• Recruit top talent through prescribed channels.
• Manage store opening/closing, cash, and merchandise security.
• Oversee inventory, loans, merchandising, and reporting.
• Analyze financial statements and drive profitability.
• Ensure operational standards meet or exceed company standards.
• Monitor loan processes for value and integrity.
• Participate in self-development and training.
• Communicate store goals and standards clearly to staff.
• Act as manager on duty in the absence of the Store Manager.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Minimum Requirements & Qualifications

• Lift/carry up to 50 pounds.
• Perform tasks for extended periods, including standing, walking, climbing, etc.
• Supervisory experience.
• Ability to work with firearms and become certified.
• Must be 18+, high school diploma or equivalent.
• Flexible schedule, including weekends and holidays.
• Work 45+ hours/week, based on business needs.
• Computer literacy and POS system experience.
• Multi-tasking in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong organizational and analytical skills.
• Cash handling experience.
• Ability to work independently.

Commission Plan
