Job summary

This Store Manager Candidate supports the Store Manager in all store processes and prepares for a future Store Manager role, working across merchandising, payroll, and store controls.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent strongly preferred.
• Two or more years of experience in a leadership or managerial position.
• Two or more years of experience in a retail grocery store strongly preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assists in recruiting and staffing activities.
• Assists with store merchandising by staging, stocking and storage of merchandise.
• Assists in all aspects of inventory management and prepares inventories.
• Follows prescribed ordering practices to meet in-stock targets.
• Provides superior customer service leadership.
• Operates store in store manager's absence.
• Reviews operating statements to identify trends and opportunities.
• Completes all paperwork and documentation on time.
