Job summary

FirstCash Holdings, Inc. is seeking an ambitious Store Management Trainee to learn day-to-day store operations and leadership skills. You will work with store leadership to develop team capabilities and drive performance across merchandise categories, loans, and sales.

The role offers growth through hands-on training, a competitive hourly wage with commission opportunities, and benefits. Most stores operate 9AM-6PM with varying schedules and earned wage access after day 2.

Qualifications

• 18+ years old with a high school diploma, GED, or equivalent experience.
• Leadership or supervisory experience preferred.
• Strong leadership, coaching, and team development skills.
• Ability to stand, walk, lift up to 50 lbs.
• Flexible retail schedule, including weekends and holidays.
• Bilingual applicants encouraged to apply.
• Experience with retail POS systems is a plus.
• Comfortable working with firearms in FFL locations; certification provided.

Responsibilities

• Deliver exceptional customer service and help create a customer-focused environment.
• Learn and support all aspects of daily store operations.
• Assist with coaching, training, and developing team members.
• Support recruiting and talent development efforts.
• Open and close the store while following asset protection and cash handling procedures.
• Assist with inventory management, merchandising, and store presentation.
• Help drive store performance by supporting sales, loan, and profitability goals.
• Learn how to analyze business results and support operational decision-making.
• Monitor loan and buying transactions to ensure accuracy and compliance.
• Build product knowledge across a wide variety of merchandise categories.
• Complete management training and development assignments.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
