Job summary

FirstCash, Inc. is seeking an ambitious Store Management Trainee to learn day‑to‑day operations and develop leadership skills in a retail environment. You will gain experience in customer service, inventory, coaching, and store performance while working with a wide range of merchandise.

You will be scheduled for a flexible retail shift, with opportunities for commission (up to 8%) and performance bonuses. Comprehensive benefits and employee discounts are available.

Qualifications

• Must be 18+ with HS diploma.
• Leadership, supervisory, or key-holder experience preferred.
• Strong customer service and communication skills.
• Able to stand/walk and lift up to 50 lbs.
• Flexible retail schedule, including weekends.

Responsibilities

• Deliver exceptional customer service and create a customer-focused environment.
• Learn and support all aspects of daily store operations.
• Assist with coaching, training, and developing team members.
• Support recruiting and talent development efforts.
• Open and close the store while following asset protection and cash handling procedures.
• Assist with inventory management, merchandising, and store presentation.
• Help drive store performance by supporting sales, loan, and profitability goals.
• Learn how to analyze business results and support operational decision-making.
• Monitor loan and buying transactions to ensure accuracy and compliance.
• Build product knowledge across a wide variety of merchandise categories.
• Complete management training and development assignments.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
