Job summary

Target is offering a Stores Executive Internship to gain a realistic preview of the ETL role within a store environment. The paid program runs 40 hours per week, with hands-on leadership experience alongside mentors and managers to drive guest service and store performance.

Participants will learn to lead teams, manage priorities, and develop skills for store leadership while receiving formal development and feedback sessions throughout the internship.

Qualifications

• Previous retail experience preferred, but not required.
• Strong interest in working in retail management.

Responsibilities

• Spending time on the store salesfloor and backroom leading team members and aligning the team on daily business priorities.
• Leading through daily priorities (stocking shelves, ensuring a safe and welcoming environment).
• Partnering with leaders regarding team member performance, coaching and feedback.
• Providing guidance to develop leadership skills and career growth.
• Help drive guest experience and store priorities through teamwork.
• Participate in internship program training activities and events.
• Support daily operations and ensure compliance with safety policies.
