Lids Sports Group in Indianapolis, Indiana is seeking an Assistant Store Manager to lead a busy retail team, drive sales, deliver exceptional customer service, and maintain store standards. You will oversee scheduling, coaching, and daily operations to ensure a welcoming, efficient shopping experience for fans and customers.

This role requires strong communication, team leadership, and a hands-on approach to merchandising, inventory, and loss prevention.

Qualifications

• Ability to work autonomously and manage responsibilities without direct supervision.

Responsibilities

• Act as Manager on duty for scheduling issues or customer complaints when Store Manager is unavailable.
• Lead store associates through LIDS Training Programs, goal setting, and follow-up.
• Administer progressive discipline, including verbal and written warnings in the absence of the Store Manager.
• Foster a respectful, productive environment and ensure adherence to company policies and brand standards.
• Assist in recruiting and training store personnel on proper store operations and procedures.
• Schedule, staff, and ensure proper store coverage during peak periods as needed.
• Support in executing training and development initiatives to enhance team performance.
