Dollar General Corporation is seeking a Store Manager to oversee all store processes from ordering and stocking to presenting merchandise and driving sales. You will recruit, train, evaluate staff, and ensure compliance with company policies and safety standards.

In this fast-paced role you will manage inventory, scheduling, opening and closing duties, and maintain a clean, secure store environment while delivering superior customer service.

Formación

• High school diploma or equivalent, preferred.
• One year of management experience in a retail environment preferred.

Responsabilidades

• Recruits, selects, and retains qualified employees; ensure store is properly staffed.
• Provides training, conducts performance evaluations, and counsels as needed.
• Makes recommendations regarding employee pay rate and advancement.
• Communicates performance, conduct and safety expectations; coordinates meetings and events.
• Ensures store is opened and closed as required; manages daily scheduling.
• Evaluates operating statements for sales, profitability, and turn.
• Oversees inventory ordering and stock management; reviews BSR/cycle counts.
• Facilitates staging, stocking, and storage of merchandise per company processes.
• Maintains merchandise presentation, pricing, and signage.
• Maintains accurate inventory; controls damages and markdowns.
• Ensures financial integrity via cashier accountability and cash controls.
• Provides superior customer service leadership.
• Keeps store clean, safe, and well-organized.
