Banana Republic is seeking an Assistant Manager to set the store tone and lead a high-performing team in Chicago. You will drive profitable sales growth through customer and product operations, merchandising, and talent development, partnering with management to execute store strategy and coach Leads, Experts and Brand Associates.

You will recruit, train, and guide teams, own your area, and implement plans to maximize efficiency while representing the brand and delivering a best-in-class

Responsibilities

• Drive store sales and profitable growth through customer and product operations, merchandising, and talent development.
• Recruit, hire and develop Brand Associates and Experts.
• Own assigned area and implement action plans to maximize efficiency.
• Perform Service Leader duties and ensure SOPs are followed.
• Represent the brand and stay aware of retail landscape and competition.
• Promote community involvement and leverage omni-channel for a seamless experience.
• Ensure compliance standards are met.
