Job summary

Banana Republic in Atlanta is seeking an Assistant Manager to lead a store team and shape the customer experience. You will drive profitable sales through customer and product operations, merchandising, and talent development.

You will coach Leads, Experts, and Brand Associates to deliver a best-in-class experience, manage omni-channel integration, and ensure adherence to brand standards in a fast-paced retail environment.

Qualifications

• Previous retail management experience (1–3 years) preferred.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Strong leadership and coaching abilities.
• Comfort with using retail technology and POS systems.
• Ability to work a flexible schedule including holidays and weekends.
• Physically able to move around sales floor, stockroom and lift up to 30 pounds.

Responsibilities

• Drive store sales through a customer-centric approach.
• Recruit, hire and develop Brand Associate and Expert teams.
• Own assigned area of responsibility and deliver results.
• Implement action plans to maximize efficiency and productivity.
• Perform Service Leader duties as needed.
• Ensure consistent execution of SOPs and brand standards.
• Represent the Banana Republic brand and analyze retail landscape.
• Promote community involvement and Omni-channel experiences.
• Ensure compliance with company policies and procedures.
