Job summary

Banana Republic is seeking an Assistant Manager to set the store tone and lead a high-performing team. You will drive profitable sales, oversee customer and product operations, merchandising, and talent development to deliver a best-in-class customer experience.

You will coach Leads and Brand Associates, collaborate with management, and execute the store strategy to meet performance goals in a dynamic retail environment.

Qualifications

• 1-3 years of retail management experience.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Strong communication with customers and team.
• Thrives in a fast-paced retail environment.
• Driven by metrics to meet business goals.
• Leads and inspires others through coaching.
• Flexible schedule including holidays, evenings, weekends.
• Ability to lift up to 30 pounds and travel as required.

Responsibilities

• Support strategies to drive store sales and results through a customer-centric mindset.
• Recruit, hire and develop Brand Associate and Expert teams.
• Own assigned area of responsibility.
• Implement action plans to maximize efficiencies and productivity.
• Perform Service Leader duties.
• Ensure consistent SOP execution.
• Represent the brand and understand retail competition.
• Promote community involvement.
• Leverage omni-channel for a frictionless customer experience.
