Dollar General in Camden, TN is seeking a Store Manager to lead all store operations including ordering, receiving, stocking, presentation, selling and staffing while upholding safety and customer service standards in a fast-paced environment.

You will recruit and train employees, conduct performance reviews, oversee scheduling and labor, monitor inventory, control costs and ensure compliance with company policies and federal/state laws to deliver results.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent, preferred.
• One year of management experience in a retail environment preferred.

Responsabilités

• Recruits, selects, and retains qualified employees according to labor laws and Company policies; ensure store is properly staffed.
• Provides proper training for employees; conducts performance evaluations; identifies gaps for solutions and counseling, up to termination.
• Makes recommendations regarding employee pay rate and advancement.
• Communicates performance, conduct and safety expectations; coordinates meetings and events to encourage safety and policies.
• Ensures store is properly opened and closed; opens and closes as needed several times per week.
• Evaluates operating statements to identify business trends and opportunities for cost control.
• Manages ordering and replenishment to meet stocking targets; reviews planning and inventory issues weekly.
• Facilitates staging, stocking and storage of merchandise following Company processes.
• Ensures merchandise is presented according to standards with proper pricing and signage.
• Maintains accurate inventory levels and controls shrink and damages.
• Ensures financial integrity through cashier accountability and cash control procedures.
• Provides superior customer service leadership and maintains a safe environment.
• Keeps store clean, organized, and properly equipped for tasks.
• Adheres to SOPs and company communications; completes paperwork timely.
