Job summary

Responsibilities

• Recruits, selects, and retains qualified employees and staffs the store.
• Provides training, conducts evaluations, and counsels when needed.
• Makes recommendations on pay rate and advancement.
• Communicates performance, safety expectations, and policies with the team.
• Ensures proper staffing and manages opening/closing shifts.
• Evaluates store performance metrics and identifies improvement opportunities.
• Manages ordering and inventory planning to meet in-stock targets.
• Staging, stocking and storage of merchandise following company processes.
• Maintains merchandise presentation, pricing and signage per standards.
• Maintains inventory accuracy and controls damages and shrink.
• Ensures cashier accountability and cash control procedures.
• Delivers superior customer service leadership.
• Keeps store clean, safe and well-organized.
• Ensures tools and equipment are available for tasks.
• Follows SOPs, handbook, and communications; ensures compliance.
• Completes paperwork and documentation on time.
