Rural King in Norwalk, Ohio seeks an Assistant Store Manager to help lead daily store operations and deliver an outstanding customer experience, partnering with the Store Manager to drive sales and associate development.

This role focuses on merchandising, inventory, scheduling, safety, and community engagement, with opportunities to grow into store leadership through hands-on training and a values-driven culture.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of retail leadership or supervisory experience.
• Ability to lead, coach, and develop high-performing teams.
• Experience with retail operations, merchandising, inventory management, scheduling, and customer service.
• Strong communication, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
• Proficiency with MS Office, POS systems, and inventory management software.
• Ability to prioritize multiple responsibilities in a fast-paced retail environment.
• Flexibility to work varied schedules, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
• Must meet federal requirements to qualify for an FFL when applicable.
