Job summary

Rural King is seeking an Assistant Store Manager to help lead daily store operations while delivering an outstanding customer experience. This role partners with the Store Manager to drive sales, develop associates, oversee merchandising and inventory, ensure operational excellence, and create a safe, engaging shopping environment.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of retail leadership or supervisory experience.
• Ability to lead, coach, motivate, and develop teams.
• Experience in retail operations, merchandising, inventory, scheduling, and customer service.
• Strong communication, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
• Ability to analyze business performance and drive improvements.

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily retail operations with the Store Manager to drive sales and ensure operational excellence.
• Lead scheduling, labor planning, inventory accuracy, and loss prevention initiatives.
• Coach and develop associates, conduct evaluations, and support succession planning.
• Deliver exceptional customer service and promote store initiatives and promotions.
• Ensure safety, compliance, and confidentiality across store operations.
