Job summary

Ross Stores is seeking an Assistant Store Manager to lead daily operations, supervise associates, and uphold our customer service and merchandising standards. You will partner with the Store Manager to drive performance, manage scheduling, and ensure compliance with safety and policies across the store.

Ideal candidates have 2+ years in retail supervision, strong leadership, excellent communication, and a commitment to Ross brand excellence.

Qualifications

• Two or more years of Store or Assistant Store Manager experience in a retail environment.
• Must supervise, motivate and communicate positively to store associates at all levels.
• Ability to handle multiple tasks, prioritize, give direction and follow through.

Responsibilities

• Lead and supervise store operations in absence of the Store Manager.
• Ensure scheduling aligns with business objectives and state regulations.
• Manage payroll administration and daily punch edits as needed.
• Uphold company safety, loss prevention and merchandise standards.
• Coach and develop non-exempt associates and maintain brand integrity.
