Job summary

The Manager in Training is a position within Hibbett Retail, Inc. that supports the Store Manager with overall store operations and administrative duties in a fast-paced retail environment.

They become knowledgeable in each product area, promote sales initiatives, and serve as an ambassador for Hibbett I City Gear, delivering exceptional customer service and stepping into Store Manager responsibilities when needed.

Qualifications

• Experience in retail, preferably footwear and athletic apparel.
• 1-3 years of customer service experience.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and assist leadership.

Responsibilities

• Assist the Store Manager with selling, restocking, merchandising, ordering, and scheduling.
• Assume responsibility of the entire store in the absence of the Store Manager.
• Provide guidance to employees and customers in all departments when necessary.
• Monitor inventory, sales statistics and expenses to support profitability.
