Job summary

Circle K in West Peoria, IL seeks a full-time site leader to oversee staff, operations, and customer service at the local market. You will recruit, train, and coach employees, ensure the site remains clean, stocked, and compliant with company standards, and manage scheduling to maximize service quality.

You will also supervise and develop the team, promote safety, engage suppliers, and drive profitability through daily sales analysis and disciplined financial oversight.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED preferred.
• Experience in retail sales preferred.
• Ability to supervise and train staff per CSR/ASM descriptions.
• Ability to supervise and manage functions listed in CSR/ASM duties.
• Computer skills for reports, inventory, cash control and notices.
• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.
• English communication skills (oral and written).
• Willing to perform other duties as assigned.

Responsibilities

• Recruit, hire and train employees to ensure excellent customer service.
• Plan tasks to keep the site clean, stocked and well kept per standards.
• Maintain professional image among staff and supervisors.
• Schedule employees per guidelines to maximize service and image.
• Apply non-discriminatory management in hiring, training and motivation.
• Develop and maintain positive supplier relationships and resolve issues.
• Train staff on safety, customer service and marketing execution.
• Ensure timely communication with all employees and the Market Manager.
• Organize site files and reports, manage stock and pricing.
• Analyze daily sales and expenses to maximize profits and forecast P&L.
• Ensure posters and signs are accessible and up to date.
• Work indoors mostly; occasionally outdoors for site upkeep and safety.
