Job summary

Hibbett I City Gear in Luling, LA is seeking a Manager in Training to support the Store Manager with daily operations and customer experience. You will learn each department, assist in selling, restocking, merchandising, ordering and scheduling while promoting every sale and promotion.

The role requires leadership, exceptional customer service, and the ability to guide staff in the absence of the Store Manager. You will help uphold policies and protect assets while driving store goals.

Qualifications

• Experience in a retail environment, preferably footwear or apparel.
• Strong customer service and communication skills.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and lead a team.

Responsibilities

• Assist Store Manager in selling, restocking, merchandising, ordering and scheduling.
• Manage store operations in the Manager in Training period and during absences.
• Ensure customer service excellence and adherence to store policies.
• Monitor inventory, sales statistics and expenses to support profitability.
• Provide guidance to staff and promote store promotions and services.
