Job summary

Hibbett is seeking a Manager in Training in New Iberia, Louisiana. The role supports the Store Manager in daily operations, merchandising, and customer service, with knowledge across product areas to drive store goals and promotions.

You will help supervise staff, assist with scheduling, inventory awareness, and customer interactions, ensuring profitability and outstanding service while preparing to assume Store Manager responsibilities.

Qualifications

• Experience in a retail environment, preferably footwear/athletic apparel.
• 1–3 years of customer service experience.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
• Ability to assist in managing a team and meet store goals and profits.
• Self-starter with initiative to take on important tasks.
• Strong attention to detail and multi-tasking abilities.
• Team-player with outstanding customer service and selling skills.

Responsibilities

• Assist the Store Manager with store operations and administrative duties.
• Promote and sell services and merchandise.
• Provide knowledge and guidance to employees and customers across departments.
• Communicate inventory movement and customer trends to the Store Manager.
• Maintain high standards of customer service and store policies.
• Manage store in the Store Manager’s absence when required.
