Job summary

Victra, the largest Verizon authorized retailer in the United States, seeks an Assistant General Manager to lead a store team, drive sales, and ensure outstanding customer experiences. You will coach staff, manage daily operations, and own the store's performance with the General Manager away.

You will model Victra's standards, resolve customer issues, and guide merchandising and staffing to meet targets. This role offers real career growth within a competitive, energetic retail environment.

Qualifications

• Background in customer service within the retail, restaurant, or wireless industry preferred.
• 1-2 years of experience in a Customer Service or leadership role.
• Management experience in a commissions-based sales environment.
• Proven track record of achieving challenging team and individual sales goals.
• Balanced multiple opposing priorities in a multifaceted environment.
• High school diploma or GED.
• Willingness to work evenings, weekends, holidays, November through December, and/or during peak vacation periods.
• Legally authorized to work in the United States.

Responsibilities

• Take part in interviewing and hiring decisions for your store, helping bring in the best talent and developing the team you already have.
• Provide training and mentoring to deliver an outstanding customer experience by handling customer flow and store traffic.
• Identify selling skill gaps and build development plans to help the team meet and exceed sales metrics and quota assignments.
• Own your own sales performance on the floor and lead the numbers, not just manage them.
• Take direction from the store leader on day-to-day operations while prioritizing to deliver on commitments under pressure.
• Keep score daily—track performance and store metrics to coach in the moment.
• Run store operations, analyze staffing needs, report financial data, handle cash, ensure compliance, and coordinate with Facilities/Network/IT as needed.
