Job summary

Kroger Co. in Liberal, KS is seeking a Store Manager to oversee store operations in the absence of the Store Manager when needed, coach frontline leaders, and drive performance. You will manage scheduling, security, maintenance, safety, sanitation, and HR duties while upholding Kroger’s core values.

Candidate will lead teams to achieve weekly and annual sales and budgets, maximize profitability, and enhance customer service in a fast-paced retail environment.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Experience leading, coaching and developing associates to achieve customer service and business goals.
• Proven ability to collaborate across departments and influence others to drive performance.
• Experience using KPIs, metrics and data insights to identify opportunities and solve problems.

Responsibilities

• Assist store manager and associates in delivering a best-in-class customer experience.
• Lead teams in planning and executing merchandising and operating initiatives.
• Develop action plans from Associate Insight survey results and communicate to staff.
• Identify opportunities with department heads and create plans to ensure implementation.
• Support labor management and control costs while meeting safety and quality targets.
• Promote strong community relations and maintain compliance with policies and laws.
