Job summary

DTLR, Inc. is seeking an Assistant Store Manager to support the Store Manager in daily operations, driving sales, managing expenses, and inventory while leading a team to deliver outstanding customer service.

You will assist with recruiting, training, and performance evaluations, monitor loss prevention, and ensure compliance with company policies across assigned stores in the district. This role requires flexibility, travel, and a commitment to excellence.

Qualifications

• Requires minimum of one year in retail management.
• Excellent command of English for effective communication with management, associates and customers.
• Strong interpersonal skills with poise, tact and diplomacy.
• Ability to think strategically, plan and organize effectively.

• Analytical ability to summarize data for reports and solve administrative problems.

Responsibilities

• Responsible for overall quality and performance of the store staff.
• Ensures compliance with company policies and procedures.
• Models leadership to gain commitment to store goals and training standards.
• Assist with recruitment, selection and training of staff.
• Assist with annual performance evaluations for store employees.
• Assist with expense management and budget alignment.
• Monitor shrink and loss control to meet company goals.
• Oversee safety and business standard compliance.
• Support training of employees in selling and merchandising techniques.
• Ensure outstanding customer service and a friendly store environment.
• Assist in merchandise inventory counts.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
• Standard work week not to exceed 40 hours.
• Flexible schedule including days, nights, weekends, holidays.
