Citi Trends is seeking an Assistant Store Manager to support daily store operations, lead a team, and assist the Store Manager with hiring and onboarding. You will help drive sales performance and maintain service standards in our Missouri City location.

This role requires a high school diploma, 2–4 years in retail leadership, and the ability to work flexible hours including nights and weekends. You will coach staff, manage inventory, and ensure compliance with company policies.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• 2–4 years experience as an Assistant Manager.
• 3–5 years of overall retail experience preferred.
• Strong communication, organizational and people leadership skills.
• Ability to work a flexible schedule, including nights and weekends.
• Ability to perform basic math calculations, including percentages.

Responsibilities

• Support daily store operations to meet sales goals and customer service standards.
• Monitor sales activity and guide associates to deliver strong service.
• Assist with inventory control and shrink prevention efforts.
• Ensure compliance with Citi Trends policies and standards.
• Supervise store associates in sales, inventory, cash handling and service.
• Assist with hiring, onboarding and training of new staff.
• Help maintain appropriate staffing levels and retention.
• Provide coaching and performance feedback.
