Citi Trends is seeking an Assistant Store Manager in our retail network to support daily store operations, lead staff, and help drive sales performance. You will collaborate with the Store Manager on hiring, onboarding, and coaching to maintain service excellence and operational standards.

The role requires a high school diploma and 2–4 years in retail leadership, with 3–5 years total retail experience preferred. Flexibility for evenings and weekends is expected, along with basic math skills.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• 2–4 years experience as an Assistant Manager or similar retail leadership role.
• 3–5 years of overall retail experience preferred.
• Strong communication, organizational, and people leadership skills.
• Ability to work a flexible schedule, including nights and weekends.
• Ability to perform basic math calculations.

Responsibilities

• Support daily store operations to meet sales goals and customer experience standards.
• Monitor sales activity and guide associates to deliver excellent service.
• Assist with inventory control, transactions, and shrink prevention.
• Supervise and support store associates in sales, inventory, cash handling, and customer service.
• Assist Store Manager with hiring, onboarding, and training of staff.
• Maintain a safe, organized customer-focused store environment.
• Ensure adherence to policies, procedures, and loss prevention standards.
