Job summary

Citi Trends in Missouri is seeking an Assistant Store Manager to support daily store operations, drive sales, and help lead a motivated team. You will partner with the Store Manager on staffing, onboarding, training, and performance coaching to elevate customer experience.

You will supervise associates, manage inventory processes, maintain merchandising standards, and ensure policy adherence while delivering excellent service, loss prevention, and growth opportunities.

Qualifications

• Requires high school diploma or equivalent.
• 2-4 years in an Assistant Manager or retail leadership role.
• 3-5 years total retail experience preferred.
• Strong communication, organizational and people leadership skills.
• Flexible schedule including nights and weekends.
• Ability to perform basic math calculations.

Responsibilities

• Support daily store operations to meet sales goals and customer experience standards.
• Supervise and support store associates in sales, inventory, cash handling and service.
• Assist with hiring, onboarding and training of staff.
