Job summary

Bass Pro Shops in Mesa, AZ seeks a Retail Manager to oversee one or more Sales Departments, ensuring strong merchandise presentation, inventory control, pricing, sales enhancements, staff development and top-notch customer service.

Qualified candidates have 3–5 years in retail management, excellent interpersonal skills, and proficiency with POS and inventory systems. You will open/close the store, manage schedules, coach staff and resolve customer issues.

Qualifications

• Experience: Minimum 3-5 years in Retail Management with responsibility for one or more Sales Departments.
• Strong financial acumen and ability to manage budgets and plans.

Responsibilities

• Supervises Sales Departments, oversees merchandise presentation and inventory control.
• Executes sales plans and meets financial targets.
• Opens and closes the store and assumes Manager on Duty responsibilities.
• Maintains planograms as directed by Corporate.
• Staffs departments with service-oriented associates; coordinates training and performance.
• Resolves customer and associate issues.
• Provides a legendary customer experience by recommending products and programs.
