Curaleaf Stamford is seeking an experienced Retail Assistant Store Manager to lead a high-performing team and deliver exceptional customer experiences at 814 E Main St, Stamford, CT. You will drive revenue, supervise shifts, and ensure excellent brand representation in a fast-paced, regulated retail setting.

The role requires 1+ year in retail or customer service and 2+ years in supervisory capacity, with strong leadership and English proficiency.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 1 year of retail or customer service experience in a high-paced selling environment.
• Minimum 2 years of retail supervisory experience.
• Strong business acumen and KPI measurement understanding.
• Ability to drive performance through sales metrics and KPIs.
• Fluent in reading, writing, and speaking English.
• Experience coaching and developing frontline employees.
• Ability to handle customer escalations in a fast-paced environment.
• Willing to work flexible schedules including evenings and weekends.
• Experience in a heavily regulated industry.
• Strong leadership and team management skills.
• Cash handling and POS experience.
• Experience with inventory controls, audits, and compliance.

Responsibilities

• Communicate with Store Manager and District Manager to maximize revenue opportunities.
• Model selling behaviors aligned with brand culture to build loyalty.
• Monitor customer service and coach team members.
• Share best practices to deliver a memorable guest experience.
• Supervise store operations including shifts, delegation, and scheduling.
• Oversee cash handling, bank activities, deposits, and bookkeeping.
• Analyze inventory trends and manage ordering and stock levels.
• Maintain knowledge of computer systems and POS software.
• Ensure policy compliance and professional conduct.
• Travel for training or coverage up to 25%.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
