Dollar General Corporation is seeking an Assistant Store Manager to help keep a clean, organized store with a customer-first focus. You will assist in supervision, merchandise presentation, deposits, and paperwork while protecting assets and reducing losses.

Responsibilities include leading customer service, training staff, managing stock and planograms, and ensuring cash accuracy. The role requires flexibility to open/close store and travel as needed in a retail setting.

Qualificações

• High school diploma or equivalent strongly preferred.
• One year of experience in a retail environment and six months supervisory experience preferred.

Responsabilidades

• Provide superior customer service leadership and operate cash register.
• Open and close the store a minimum of two days per week.
• Assist with scheduling employees, training, safety meetings, and policy compliance.
• Manage merchandise flow including receiving, stocking, planograms and displays.
• Help maintain accurate inventory levels and control damages, markdowns, and paperwork.
• Support cash control, refunds, overrides, and deposits.
• Assist with store operations in the Store Manager's absence.
