Job summary

Hibbett I City Gear in Eden, NC is hiring an Assistant Manager for Operations. You will assist the Store Manager with daily store operations, merchandising, restocking, scheduling, and customer service excellence.

You will in the manager's absence supervise staff and help achieve store goals while upholding company policies. The role requires 1–3 years in retail, strong communication, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Experience in a retail environment, preferably footwear and athletic apparel.
• 1-3 years of customer service experience.

Responsibilities

• Assist the Store Manager in controlling store assets.
• Consult with Store Manager to establish action plans for selling, restocking, merchandising, ordering, and scheduling.
• Assume responsibility of the entire store in the Store Manager's absence.
• Assist with recruiting, training, and evaluation of store personnel.
• Provide guidance to employees and customers across all departments.
• Monitor inventory, sales statistics, and expenses to ensure profitability.
• Direct staff to meet department responsibilities and standards.
• Maintain excellent customer service as highlighted in the customer service manual.
• Promote and sell services and merchandise provided by Hibbett I City Gear.
